Egg Grading and Processing Team Lead

Pace Farm is a leading egg producer seeking a highly skilled and experienced team leader to oversee the smooth operation of our egg grading and processing department.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams, managing shift performance, and ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and WHS standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily grading and packing operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage shift performance, team rosters, and workflow to minimize downtime and errors.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols to protect employees and prevent workplace accidents.
  • Train and support team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor production data, OEE, and help reduce errors and downtime.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Team on equipment issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Communicate daily priorities and progress via team huddles and updates.
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture focused on performance, safety, and teamwork.
About You
  • You are a strong communicator and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
  • You know how to engage a team, maintain safety standards, and keep operations running smoothly.
  • You will bring previous experience in a supervisory/team leader role, good understanding of HACCP, GMP, and WHS practices, experience in a production, food processing, or manufacturing environment, solid time management and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel), a proactive, physically fit, and safety-focused attitude, strong team leadership, communication, and performance coaching abilities, and ability to identify and respond to issues that impact quality or productivity.
