Primary School Stage Coordinator (Years 3-6)
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Primary School Stage Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our academic leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the academic design, structure and implementation of the stage-specific curriculum for students within their designated year groups.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in academic leadership roles or student coordination roles within an educational setting, preferably with direct responsibility for curriculum initiatives. They will also have demonstrated experience in managing and responding to crises or incidents with a calm, empathetic approach, with knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation techniques.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative learning environment where you can work collaboratively with teachers, students and parents to achieve exceptional academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Create a supportive academic environment for students
- Collaborate with Year Coordinators and Subject Specialists to develop learning strategies using student feedback and data
- Maintain regular student check-ins to foster communication and identify early concerns
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and registration
- Certifications in Mental Health First Aid, trauma-informed education, or other pastoral care training are highly desirable
- A willingness to participate in professional development related to pastoral care, child psychology, and well-being
