We are seeking a Part-Time Transportation Assistant. Your main responsibilities will include assisting residents with mobility aids, resident shopping, and accompanying them on outings. You will also be required to drive the bus safely and in accordance with road requirements.

About this role:

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assisting residents with mobility aids, such as wheelchairs
  • Aiding residents with simple mobilisation
  • Accompanying residents on outings, engaging them in activities and providing support
  • Providing high-level customer service to residents and internal customers
  • Driving the bus safely and in accordance with road requirements

About You:

  • You will have a valid MR class licence for driving buses of 22 passenger capacity or less
  • You will possess previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
  • You will have a police check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • You will have an NDIS Worker Check (valid within the last 5 years)
  • You will provide evidence of recent Flu vaccinations
