**Job Title:** Junior Finance Officer

The **Junior Finance Officer** will be a diligent and meticulous individual joining our finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in assisting with payroll processing, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and supporting day-to-day operations.

  • Process and assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee payments and compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile accounts and financial transactions to maintain accuracy in financial records.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing invoices, verifying payment details, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, bills, contracts, and expense reports.
  • Support daily tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, supporting project analysis, and completing ad hoc tasks as required by the finance manager or executive team.

**About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years experience in AP, AR, payroll, or a similar finance role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
  • Confident working autonomously, taking ownership of responsibilities, and proactively solving problems.
  • Skilled at communicating with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player with a drive to support business operations.
