Looking for a dynamic and innovative culinary leader to join our team as Sous Chef

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the culinary direction of a new dining destination. As Sous Chef, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences that capture the spirit of our brand.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus, train staff, and manage kitchen operations. Your passion for modern Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, combined with your leadership skills, will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring dishes are creative, delicious, and visually appealing.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control, optimizing resources to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations, including room service, conferences, and events.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a Sous Chef in a high-energy restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a diverse team.
  • Experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine preferred, but not essential.
  • Calm under pressure, with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • A creative approach to menu design, plating, and culinary trends.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional results, while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
