About the Role:
As a member of the aged care management team, you will be responsible for the leadership, planning, and decision-making of our client's direct care service. This will involve ensuring the service supports the organisation's strategic direction, which includes growth across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a direct care strategy, service, and structure aligned to our clients' overall strategy.
- Work with the Executive Director and other managers to optimise opportunities and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure the program meets quality and safety standards related to your area of responsibility.
- Manage and support effective performance, resulting in the achievement of annual program and individual performance targets.
- Undertake business planning for proposed changes within your area of responsibility and complete funding submissions and reports.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships between internal business units, services, groups, and sectors.
- Participate in local, regional, and State-wide networks of strategic relevance.
- Create a culture of excellence in customer service and effective teamwork, alongside the leadership team.
- Coordinate the collection and collation of data as specified in service agreements and strategy and business plans.
- Meet internal and external reporting timeframes and requirements.
- Investigate complaints related to your area of responsibility and respond in accordance with our clients' procedures.
Requirements:
- Leads and manages a remote team and delivers program objectives within service delivery and budget parameters.
- Delivers program objectives within service delivery and budget parameters, as well as establishes new programs and services.
- Commitment to excellence in customer service, particularly in aged care customer service and sales processes.
- Sound understanding of monitoring and managing budgets and the ability to critically analyse business performance.
- Understanding of a range of HR issues, including legislative requirements, recruitment and selection, performance management.
- Medium to high level of computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs and the internet.
- Proven ability to undertake data entry, document management, and navigate between databases.
- A current driver's license is essential.
- You will also have or be willing to undergo a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
