About the role:

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptcare, a leading provider of aged care services in Victoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to consumers, working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care that meets consumer expectations.

The main objective of this role is to maintain a safe and secure environment for consumers, ensuring dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life are maintained. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Providing management and leadership to care staff, encouraging an environment that is based on teamwork and a committed consumer focus.
  • Ensuring all staff reporting to you are working within their scope of practice and maintaining Baptcare standards in terms of care delivery, professionalism, and customer-focused approach.
  • Maintaining clear, consistent communication in relation to all aspects of care, while respecting individual privacy and dignity.
  • Ensuring safe and secure management of medications.
  • Contributing proactively to the continuous improvement process and able to explain same to any other stakeholders.
  • Maintaining own educational and professional development within Scope of Practice.

About you:

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and basic Excel.
  • Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
