Recreational Activities Officer

This role is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older Australians by contributing to enhancing their life and sense of security, companionship, fun and relaxation.

Responsibilities include assisting residents on bus trips and facilitating onsite activities such as bingo, floor bowls etc. The successful candidate will work alongside our supportive Lifestyle Team to deliver engaging programs and services.

Requirements
  • A qualification in leisure and health or willingness to obtain one via our IRT Academy.
  • Initiative and creative flair.
  • Knowledge of dementia care is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and prioritise tasks.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
