Located in a serene bushland setting, we are a dedicated team providing care and companionship to residents with diverse needs and interests.

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will deliver engaging leisure and lifestyle activities tailored to the needs and capabilities of our residents. Your role will involve leading, guiding and directing staff in planning activity programs, liaising with team members, residents and carers.

You will ensure all residents can participate in an activity program of interest and achieve desired outcomes. You will confirm activity programs with your manager, including details of residents involved, timetable and resources organised.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, guide and direct staff in planning activity programs, liaising with team members, residents and carers.

  • Complete evaluation of activities, daily activity participation sheets and other paperwork, reflecting continuous improvement.
  • Develop activities that account for previous interests and current capabilities to enhance quality of life through hobbies.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle program in Aged Care. If you're qualified and starting out, we'd love to hear from you too. You'll need to be resilient and resourceful, living our values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness every day.

What We Need You To Bring:
  • Previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle program in Aged Care is ideal, but if you're qualified and starting out, we'd love to hear from you too.
  • Resilience and resourcefulness, living our values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness every day.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications, or demonstrated competency in the knowledge required for this role.
