At Penola Catholic College, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Learning - Religious Education to join our team from 2025 to 2027.

The successful candidate will provide support to teachers within the Religious Education Learning Area and work across both campuses. They will ensure the establishment of explicit high standards for learning in the religious education learning area, implement best teaching practice and learning programs, and manage resources to improve student learning outcomes.

We are looking for a passionate and innovative leader who can demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice, understanding how students learn best. They will have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks and a capacity to provide leadership that is characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking, and innovation.

The successful candidate will be registered with VIT and have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children.
