The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Kangan Institute. As a key member of our Education Centre, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our Nursing Department, aligning with our strategic vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality education and training programs that meet industry standards and expectations.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to grow the department's profile and market position, ensuring alignment with the Institute's strategic vision.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve team KPIs and ensure the delivery of exceptional educational experiences for our students.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to ensure our programs meet industry needs and expectations.
- Lead and develop a team of engaged professionals to deliver education that exceeds legislative and Institute quality standards.
Requirements:
- Australian Registered Nurse (must have)
- Tertiary Degree in business, management or learning-related discipline and/or equivalent work experience or a Diploma or higher level in Adult Education.
- Vocational qualification for specific learning areas or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Compliance with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQEA) and The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accredited Council (ANMAC)
- Apply Research to Training and Assessment Practices preferred.
- Experience with effectively leading, engaging and developing teams to the attainment of organisational goals.
- Ability to effectively translate strategic goals into a meaningful and measurable operational plan.
- Sound commercial acumen and the ability to manage financial budgets and activities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strong results against organisational goals for which the role is responsible.
