About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to join our Blending Department in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for allocating the team to workstations, monitoring production plans, and overseeing staff in the blending department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate the team to workstations in the blending department and monitor production plans
  • Oversee staff in the blending department to instruct on cleaning, changeovers, and stoppages
  • Ensure all blending machinery is running smoothly and perform adjustments and changes to production batches as required
  • Maintain batch documentation and follow regulations and SOP's to GMP standards
  • Maintain safety and ensure a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience with blending/emulsions within the cosmetics and personal care industry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot on machines
  • Experience with leading a team and strong leadership skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Outstanding work ethic and attitude, with great communication skills
