Marketing Manager Job Description

This is a key role in our business where you will lead the overall strategy for the asset experience, making it more appealing to customers and the community, as well as driving commercial opportunities for our partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Understanding customer and community needs through research, analysis, and ongoing engagement
  • Championing customer and community interests across all aspects of the asset team's planning and operations
  • Positioning the asset experience to ensure a clear value proposition and vision
  • Developing a unique Place DNA that reflects the local character and appeal
  • Owning the guest journey to ensure seamless experiences at every touchpoint
  • Designing innovative programs and activations to drive traffic, enhance the guest experience, and create opportunities for retailers and brand partners
  • Identifying new revenue streams through strategic positioning of mall assets, media, and programming
  • Developing and executing an annual marketing plan
  • Managing the Marketing Budget to maximize returns on investment
  • Delivering national programs at the local level to engage customers, community, retailers, and partners
  • Coordinating visual merchandising, signage, and advertising to high standards
  • Managing digital channels to drive social media engagement, email subscribers, and data collection
  • Driving the asset's reputation to meet or exceed PR targets and maintaining effective media relations

You will work closely with our team to achieve common goals and foster an environment of open communication and feedback.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional with 5-7 years of experience in the retail industry. You should have strong people management skills and be able to manage marketing budgets. The following qualifications and skills are essential:

  • Retail marketing expertise and tourism experience are highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to execute strategic plans and deliver innovative experiences
  • Experience in business development or brand partnerships is a plus
  • Strong analytical and creative skills
  • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office skills and financial acumen
  • Innovative thinking and ability to adapt to change
  • Exceptional eye for styling and presentation
