Asset Management Professional

Downer Group is seeking an experienced Asset Program Manager to join our team in Sydney.

As a key member of our Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Department is provided with all the information required to make informed decisions and develop long-term strategic plans for its Assets.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in asset management or equivalent and extensive experience in a similar role, with exposure in representing the business as the Asset Management lead. You will also be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of Facilities Management Plans, Procedures and Processes, including management of geographically dispersed, multi-site assets.

Knowledge of OH&S & environmental regulations, together with working knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards, are highly desirable. You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this opportunity and willing to be sponsored for government security and employment clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Facilities Management Plans, Procedures and Processes.
  • Manage geographically dispersed, multi-site assets.
  • Represent the business as the Asset Management lead.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
