Strategic Leader for Heavy Rail Asset Management

The primary objective of this role is to drive the strategic management of the heavy rail corridor assets, ensuring their accuracy, compliance, and currency.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the asset register for heavy rail corridor assets, guaranteeing its accuracy, compliance, and currency.
- Develop and support evidence-based business cases, reports, and recommendations through rigorous data analysis, risk assessment, cost evaluation, and stakeholder consultation.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to create and refine an integrated investment plan that aligns funding priorities with network performance goals and asset needs.
- Lead the creation and implementation of long-term Strategic Asset and Services Plans (TAM SASP) and Asset and Services Plans (TAM ASP) for the heavy rail corridor.
- Improving collaborative ways of working across transport networks.
- Managing ageing infrastructure while balancing safety, performance expectations, and cost efficiency.
This position requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement in a complex operational environment.
