Job Opportunity: Apprentice Pump Technician

We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps and associated equipment for customers in Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

  • The successful applicant will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps and associated equipment for all customers within Australia and New Zealand.
  • Attend designated work sites to carry out maintenance and inspection of equipment at waste water pump stations, treatment works, clean water distribution networks, and desalination plants.
  • Assist with collection and delivery of repaired pumps and pumping equipment to and from customer sites to local Service Centres.
  • Work in conjunction with the sales team to help maximize pump sales.
  • Attend all theory sections of the apprenticeship and complete E-Profiling.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Travel to Service Centres as required to complete practical training.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous experience or expressed interest in mechanical rotating equipment, particularly pumps.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Completion of Secondary School - Year 10/11/12.
