Job Title: Medical Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Administrator. The successful candidate will provide professional leadership and guidance on strategic and operational projects, with a focus on clinical governance, accreditation, and service development.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of plans to improve clinical governance, accreditation, and service development.
  • Collaborate with the specialist Director of Medical Services at Broome Hospital to provide professional leadership and guidance on strategic and operational projects.
  • Provide administrative support to the hospital's management team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to medical administration.

This is an accredited Specialist Training Position. The successful candidate must be enrolled as a trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA) to satisfy the selection criterion of demonstrated commitment towards training as a specialist medical administrator.

Requirements:
  • Mandatory: General AHPRA Registration.
  • Mandatory: Minimum 4 years of clinical experience.
  • Mandatory: Currently enrolled as a trainee in the RACMA specialist training program for the current training year.
