Health Care Worker

About the Role
We are seeking applications from qualified healthcare professionals to join our team as Health Care Workers in the Central Allocations Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents in our nine Care Communities, with opportunities to work in Acute and Sub-Acute settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accepting shifts based on availability
- Assisting residents to meet their needs in a variety of Care Community settings
- Providing resident-focused and holistic care under the supervision of Registered & Enrolled Nurses
- Accurate documentation of resident care and meeting of health service guidelines
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff
- Providing resident-focused service in relation to meals and food services
- Ability to function within a team
- Participating in annual performance reviews
- Commitment to ongoing mandatory education
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Assist Clients With Medication Unit, desirable but not essential
- Current HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Handling Practices certificate, or willingness to obtain
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred, but is not essential
