Warehouse Support Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and physically able individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant/Delivery Offsider on a casual basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Heavy lifting and moving of mattresses and bedroom furniture with the possibility of assembling items in the customer's house.
  • Picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks as well as moving items around the warehouse and showroom as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Necessary fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks with awkward and heavy loads.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, customer service and communication skills.
  • A positive can-do attitude, presentable and enjoy helping customers.
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player and contribute to a small team environment.

Our Expectations

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous warehouse experience (preferably in the bedding or furniture industry).
  • Previous experience with installation of Furniture (preferred but not essential).
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Picker Licence (preferred, but not essential).
