We are seeking a results-driven professional to join our team as a Business Growth Specialist.
This exciting role involves acquiring new business and retaining existing clients to drive revenue growth and market share expansion in the medium segment.
Your primary function will be to generate opportunities from prospect lists through digital engagement, cold calling, and other lead generation activities. You will work closely with internal teams to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
This role requires a natural hunter with a proven background in new business development, commercially astute with a sound understanding of business drivers.
- Able to build a pipeline of opportunities through consistently achieving high levels of prospecting activity.
- Extensive relationship/strategic sales experience within the Telecommunications and/or IT sectors.
- Strong presentation-written & verbal skills to internal and external senior executives.
- Personal dedication and willingness to accept accountability for actions, complimented by effective negotiation skills, able to manage external and internal relationships with ease.
- To deliver upon agreed sales targets in both acquisition of new customers, with particular emphasis on medium market space.
- Manage the development of a balanced and sustainable pipeline to deliver long-term sales goals.
- Implement customer experience strategies to minimize churn and improve Optus' brand in the market.
- Work collaboratively with the Customer Management Team to ensure cross-sell opportunities are identified and action all leads for this function.
