Job Description

This role involves managing the integration of employees from acquired companies, ensuring a seamless transition into our organization. As a People Mergers Manager, you will be responsible for leading due diligence and integration efforts from a people perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support senior leaders with due diligence and integration activities, taking ownership of people-related tasks on smaller-sized deals.
  2. Collaborate with other teams to deliver comprehensive people solutions to employees during mergers and acquisitions.
  3. Collect, assess, and review employee data during due diligence, producing analyses to inform the people strategy for each deal.
  4. Manage employee data, including data collection, validation, and preparation for migration to our systems.
  5. Develop day-one readiness plans for employees, including communications, onboarding plans, and learning resources.
  6. Be the primary point of contact for newly acquired employees, addressing their queries, helping them navigate our organization, and resolving issues.
  7. Design and implement employee engagement activities post-day one, including surveys, deep dives, and culture integration initiatives, and report on outcomes.
  8. Identify opportunities to enhance our merger and acquisition methods based on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience supporting mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment, collaborating with colleagues across different time zones.
  • Project management skills, enabling successful execution of due diligence and integration activities.
  • Prioritization and adaptability skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks despite changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and content writing skills, facilitating effective internal and external communications.
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Able to make informed decisions with incomplete information and follow through on commitments.
