Drug and Alcohol Counsellor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for clients referred to our drug and alcohol programs. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge.

The successful candidate will have expertise in evidence-based interventions, including counselling and case management. They will be responsible for preparing detailed court reports, individual progress reports, and case assessments as required.

  • Comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for clients

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree or post-graduate degree and registration/membership in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Counselling, or Registered Nursing
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in assessment and evidence-based interventions for alcohol and other drug using clients
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven computer literacy and written and verbal communication skills
