About the Role

As a Lead Educator - OSHC Program, you will be a key member of our TeamKids team, responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to primary school-aged children. Working in collaboration with the Director of Service, you will assist in creating engaging experiences that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children.

Main Responsibilities
  • Programming: Assist in the development and implementation of enriching programs based on the preferences of the children in your care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure your program adheres to industry regulations.
  • Communication: Interact with parents, responding to their enquiries and providing essential information.
  • School Community Engagement: Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies when the Director is unavailable.
  • Childcare: Play and interact with the children, fostering a positive and fun environment.
  • Program Coordination: Co-manage or coordinate during the school holiday program.

Requirements
  • A passion for working with children and a love for creating engaging experiences.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude.
  • A strong team player with a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
  • Qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) or a related field, with a willingness to continue professional development.
  • A stable and permanent part-time position, with up to 25 hours per week.
