Job Overview

This role entails managing an organization's Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to ensure compliance with ASQA NVR Standards for Continuing Registration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the RTO, maintaining 'Fit and Proper Person' Requirements.
  • Carry out duties as a High Managerial Agent as outlined in the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011.
  • Ensure the RTO maintains its status.
  • Develop and manage staff to ensure currency of knowledge as per NVR Standards for continuing registration.
  • Manage and assist trainers, assessors, and associates.
  • Develop and manage MOU relationships with industry partners.
  • Assist with monitoring and quality assurance processes required by Australian Qualifications Framework and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of national competencies and assessment instruments.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing learning and assessment resources.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in the VET sector.
  • Recent experience working with mining, resources, construction, WH&S, or education industry sectors is preferred.
  • Strong values of honesty, trustworthiness, and reliability.
