We're seeking an environmentally conscious and proactive graduate to take on a challenging and rewarding career in mining.

This role involves working closely with experienced environmental professionals and operational teams to support environmental management across site activities.

As a member of the Environment Team, you'll gain exposure to a range of disciplines and play a vital role in ensuring compliance and sustainability at our operation.

About You
  • A recently completed degree (within the past 2 years) in Environmental Science or a related field is essential for this role.
  • A strong interest in environmental management within the resources sector is a must.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach is necessary.
  • A willingness to live and work in a regional mining community is also required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct site-based environmental monitoring and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Prepare and submit reports on greenhouse gas emissions and EPA reporting requirements.
  3. Assist with environmental risk assessments and compliance obligations.
  4. Support rehabilitation and land management projects to minimize environmental impacts.
  5. Contribute to environmental planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
