Key Restoration Role

This is a newly created position due to company growth and increased demand for restoration services. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for travelling to various locations throughout the region to complete necessary restoration tasks.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent time management skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills are also essential, as you will be interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders on a regular basis.

Able to lift heavy objects occasionally, candidates should possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Previous experience in restoration is highly desirable, but not essential. If you have a trade background or handyman skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  • Travel to properties throughout the region to complete required restoration works
  • Use App-based job management and reporting software
  • Remove and discard non-salvageable building materials and contents contaminated by flood, mould, sewage, fire, and other hazards
  • Restore and sanitise building materials and contents deemed restorable
  • Install and monitor restoration equipment
  • Clean and maintain company facilities, equipment, and vehicles
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in restoration is highly desirable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift heavy objects occasionally
  • Australian Driver's Licence & Construction White Card
  • Police check (or able to get one)
