About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Caregiver at Right at Home Northern Rivers. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises
  • Offer companionship and engage in activities such as reading, music, and puzzles
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
  • Driver's license with current comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Certified Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged, or Disability
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card and NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
  • COVID vaccination (minimum 2 doses)
  • 100 points of Identification
  • Right to work in Australia
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience as a Personal Home Care Support Worker or Assistant in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
