Companion Carer Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion Carer to join our team at Right at Home Northern Rivers. As a Companion Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support: Build meaningful relationships with clients, learn about their interests and preferences, and assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light domestic assistance, and transportation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as playing board games, light exercise, and socializing.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and our team to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Current National Police Check, Current First Aid & CPR certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Card, and a reliable, well-maintained Registered Vehicle.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility to pick-up different shifts, and a passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people.
