About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Home Care Support Worker. As a caregiver for seniors and adults with disabilities, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and support to clients, engaging in activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
  • Assist with medication reminders and prescribed exercises.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Driver's license with current comprehensive insurance.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • National Police Check.
  • Certified Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged, or Disability.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Card and NDIS Orientation Module Certificate.
  • COVID vaccination (minimum 2 doses).
  • 100 points of Identification.
  • Right to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience as a Personal Home Care Support Worker or Assistant in healthcare.
  • Empathy and Compassion.
  • Dependability.
  • Practical Thinking.
