Job Description:

The position of Graduate Fire Systems Designer is designed to equip candidates with the skills and knowledge required to excel in fire protection systems design.

This role involves working on various projects, collaborating with senior designers, architects, consultants, and authorities to produce engineering drawings for fire protection systems.

Candidates will develop a strong understanding of the fire industry and Australian standards through hands-on experience and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production of high-quality engineering drawings for fire protection systems
  • Word processing and general office duties
  • Effective collaboration with clients, architects, consultants, and authorities
  • Development of a thorough understanding of the fire industry and Australian standards
Requirements and Skills:
  • Degree qualification plus at least one year of relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency in drafting software and techniques
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD with a willingness to learn other programs
  • Experience with Revit MEP is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent Excel, Word, Outlook, and general computing skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
