Medical Laboratory Professional Job

A medical laboratory professional plays a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Their primary responsibility is to perform complex medical tests, analyze results, and report findings to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a range of medical tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology.
  • Analyze test results to identify trends and anomalies, and communicate findings to healthcare teams.
  • Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols as needed to maintain high-quality testing services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of test results, quality control measures, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Extensive clinical experience working as a medical technologist or medical laboratory scientist.
  • ASCP certification (American Society for Clinical Pathology) and strong understanding of laboratory procedures and scientific principles.
  • Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in medical technology or related field, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
