About the role

We are seeking a Full time Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dedicated team within Clayton, Victoria.

Your role will be to participate in the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, working as part of a dedicated team.  Duties include general Serology and Immunology work, maintenance of instrumentation and equipment and compliance with accreditation and quality assurance requirements. The preferred applicants will be flexible, punctual, self-motivated, display initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Laboratory Science or an AIMS accredited equivalent as a minimum.
  • Relevant experience and qualification in Serology and Immunology
  • High attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and successfully work as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication, time management & organisational skills.
  • The ability to contribute towards the delivery of customer focused services.
  • Have own transport and be able to take part in weekend and evening rosters including public holidays.
