Job Description

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the Manager Wellness and Spiritual Care in delivering strategic projects and professional development programs tailored to the CALHN Spiritual Care Services team.

  • The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced professional passionate about enhancing spiritual care through effective project management and collaboration.
  • A strong knowledge of evidence-based spiritual care practices is required, along with the ability to lead initiatives that demonstrate the real benefits of spiritual care within the healthcare setting.

As a key member of the CALHN Spiritual Care Services team, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the diverse needs of our community, ensuring those who provide spiritual care are well-equipped to meet these needs.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with staff, volunteers, and students, and providing timely, high-quality advice on complex issues.

Our organization seeks a Senior Project Officer skilled in building strong stakeholder relationships, managing and evaluating large projects independently, and meeting deadlines and priorities.

  • A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in public health, allied health, and/or spiritual care is essential, as is experience in spiritual care practice, project coordination, data analysis, and understanding of governance and equity principles.
