Section Manager - Planning Compliance and Environmental Management

">Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Section Manager to join our senior leadership group in the Development Services department. This role is critical to the success of our team, providing clear direction for employees to gain a cohesive approach in interpreting and implementing Council's legal and policy planning and environmental management framework.

The Section Manager will engage positively with management and employees, provide clear directions, and encourage a stimulating work environment to achieve Council's strategic planning vision. The role will also contribute to the Development Services senior leadership team in setting direction and working towards the achievement of the Group's management plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process Improvement: Preparation and/or review of processes and procedures in line with changes to relevant policies and legislation.
  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining positive internal and external working relationships.

As a leader in planning, compliance, and environmental management, you will be responsible for delivering results and driving innovation within our organization.
