Job Overview
The Student Grievance and Conduct Advisor plays a key role in providing support to the University community regarding student complaints and appeals.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and assess incidents concerning student behavior, collaborate with stakeholders to address matters, and facilitate misconduct referrals under the Student Misconduct Policy.
- Provide guidance on University complaint procedures, evaluate student appeals for grounds, negotiate outcomes, and refer students to relevant University support services.
- Prepare annual and ad hoc reports and make recommendations on identified issues.
Skill Requirements
- Substantial experience in advising on organisational policies and procedures.
- High-level communication skills, with expertise in preparing reports.
- Ability to analyse data, determine trends and suggest solutions to address gaps and risks.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, with experience in coordinating key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in responding professionally to complex customer requests and managing conflict.
