Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pathology Collection Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting biological specimens from patients in a safe and professional manner. You will also ensure that all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.

  • Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors
  • A Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The confidence to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centres
  • Efficient time management and problem-solving skills
  • A willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their role
  • A First Aid Certificate
