About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to join our team at WSP Global Inc. as a Senior Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering study projects with project scopes ranging from earthworks to mine closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of study projects with project scopes ranging from earthworks to mine closure.
  • Provide design coordination, stakeholder management, and assist in the management of geotechnical site investigations.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and when required, take action to resolve problems and minimize risks and delays.
  • Monitor and control cost performance against the plan, and develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure work undertaken complies with the scope and meets quality and operational requirements.
  • Interface with the client and cultivate positive relations to achieve effective communication and collaboration across teams.

About You:

You will be an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer with demonstrated experience working on civil and earthworks projects. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in project engineering and management.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry.
  • Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe, and customer requirements.
