Senior Project Engineer Opportunity

Ertech, a leading Australian and employee-owned Civil and Electrical Construction business, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to support a newly awarded concrete variation package on Barrow Island.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing procurement, plant, equipment, and resources. You will also oversee project delivery activities, including quality and safety, and adhere to 28-day and 3-month lookahead schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing month-end reporting and cost forecasting
  • Providing technical support to onsite supervision
  • Conducting short and medium-term planning relating to overall progress
  • Ensuring overall quality management, including all necessary documentation
  • Leading a small team of Engineers
  • Assisting and supporting various commercial activities, including scope development, procurement, and ongoing head and subcontract commercial management activities
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Engineering from a related field (Civil Engineering preferred) and extensive civil project experience, particularly in concrete-related projects. You should have 4+ years of bulk concrete or precast concrete experience, as well as experience in procurement, supplier, and subcontractor management.

Commercial understanding of contract and project cost control management in the civil engineering industry is also essential.
