Clinic Manager - Toowoomba

This leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe healthcare services in a Not-For-Profit Aboriginal Medical Service. You will use your skills to lead people, optimise patient care delivery, and support culturally appropriate services for the local community.

The Clinic Manager – Toowoomba will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Russell Street Clinic. This is a senior leadership position requiring both clinical and administrative expertise to ensure high standards of service delivery, compliance, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Russell Street Clinic
  • Supervise, support, and develop administrative and clinical staff
  • Ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and clinic workflows
  • Maintain compliance with clinical and operational standards and policies
  • Oversee Medicare and private billing processes.
  • Support quality improvement and accreditation activities
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and community stakeholders
  • Provide nursing leadership and clinical support where required

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Practice or Clinic Management
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
  • High-level organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in practice management software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of Medicare billing, clinical compliance, and accreditation
  • Demonstrated understanding of health issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage workload, meet KPIs, and report outcomes
