Job Overview:

The Security Issuing Officer plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of maritime security processes and identification cards. This position ensures compliance with Department of Home Affairs' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding further information
  • Process applications, manage data entry, and issue secure access cards
  • Communicate effectively with all customers using tact and diplomacy
  • Account for and reconcile all financial transactions related to SSC services
  • Collaborate with government agencies and bodies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in administration or customer service roles, preferably with maritime or security background
  • Highly developed computer skills and accurate data entry capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database programs
  • Strong attention to detail and self-discipline
  • Ability to work dynamically within a team and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
