Drainage Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drainage Maintenance Specialist to provide support with the cleaning and maintenance of drainage systems throughout the city.

This role involves operating a combination eductor and jetting truck with a fellow operator on gullies, manholes, and gross pollutant traps.

You will also be responsible for periodic maintenance of roads and footpaths, as well as provision of high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice on areas of expertise to staff, clients, suppliers, and the public;
  • Coordinate and lead work groups;
  • Install new drainage assets including manhole covers and gully grates;
  • Ensure safe and compliant work practices in accordance with Western Australian Work Health and Safety legislation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Providing expert advice to stakeholders;
  2. Coordinating and leading teams;
  3. Installing new infrastructure;
  4. Maintaining a safe working environment.
