
Credit Risk Protection Specialist

Risk specialists play a vital role in safeguarding the financial wellbeing of communities. This position is critical in our Banking division, where we are seeking talented individuals to lead credit reviews and deliver in-depth analysis and risk assessment.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant background in credit decisioning, credit analysis, or credit assurance roles, and possess strong analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading credit reviews
- Delivering in-depth analysis and risk assessment
- Presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the applicable prudential framework and specific credit standards and guidance, as well as the ability to maintain and enhance up-to-date knowledge of issues impacting credit risk profiles within regulated institutions and within the Australian financial system.
