Our business is seeking a skilled Credit and Risk Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing credit risk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the integrity of our credit policy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and decide on commercial asset finance loan applications
  • Maintain the integrity of our credit policy and ensure that decisions are aligned with our risk appetite
  • Verify borrower and broker-submitted information for accuracy and compliance
  • Identify potential fraud or inconsistencies in applications
  • Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) checks in accordance with legal and internal standards
  • Communicate decisions clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with commercial originators
  • Meet daily activity targets and team Service Level Agreements (SLAs)


What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Credit and Risk Specialist in the asset finance sector
  • High processing speed and accuracy with large volumes of applications
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
  • Attention to detail and fraud detection capabilities
  • Ability to maintain regulatory compliance under pressure
