Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of our APIs.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in building scalable and efficient APIs that interface with our trading system, ensuring seamless system integrations and supporting real-time data pipelines.

This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in designing robust message schemas and data structures, building RESTful APIs, and developing integration tests to ensure reliability and performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • API Design and Development: Design and develop scalable and efficient APIs that meet business requirements, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with our trading system, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal downtime
  • Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain Kafka-based pipelines for streaming market data and trade instructions, ensuring real-time data availability
  • Integration Testing: Write comprehensive integration tests to ensure API components meet performance and reliability standards
Requirements:
  • Strong background in software engineering and API design
  • Expertise in languages such as Java or Python, and frameworks like Spring or Django
  • Experience with database management systems, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
