About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Technical Support Representative (HV) to join our Customer Support team in Perth. This role will involve traveling throughout Western Australia to support customers with technical issues and creating solutions to meet their needs. As a Technical Support Representative, you will assist HCA staff with technical and diagnostic support, perform machine inspections, and produce detailed condition reports.
Main Responsibilities
- Support of Hitachi Rigid Trucks
- Performing diagnostic evaluations, trouble shooting and fault finding
- Perform machine inspections, produce detailed condition reports
- Discuss report findings with customer and site personnel and present recommendations
- Working with internal departments to provide high levels of service
- Promoting parts and service in line with branch sales and margin targets
Requirements
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage a customer base
- Mine site experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of mining equipment
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel as required in line with customer needs
