Teaching Opportunities in Swimming and Water Safety

The role of a Swim Teacher is to deliver effective swimming and water safety skills to students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.

As a Swim Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with children and adults, teaching them the skills they need to stay safe in and around water. This is an exciting and rewarding career opportunity for those who are passionate about swimming and making a positive impact on their community.

  • Energetic and innovative teaching style
  • Understanding of OH&S and public safety applications
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
  • Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety

AUSTSWIM qualifications are highly regarded but not essential. We offer support with qualifications to the right candidates.
