About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing a high level of human resource services related to employee relations, organizational development, and talent management. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling questions, interpreting, and administering policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, and striving to resolve work-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional advice to management and supervisors on human resource-related matters.
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding.
  • Provide counseling to staff on human resources-related issues, such as performance management, discipline, and termination.
  • Interpret and apply employment-related legislation, such as awards and acts.
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and procedures to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the training and development team to design and deliver training programs.
  • Participate in policy review and development, and assist in the preparation of relevant human resources reports for management.
  • Contribute to and participate in achieving targets set in strategic and business plans.

About You:

You will be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have high-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal customers. You will have a strong customer service focus and commitment to quality customer service outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-level human resource advice across all levels of a multi-disciplinary organization.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and consult across all levels.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers.
  • Strong customer service focus and commitment to quality customer service outcomes.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret relevant human resources legislation, awards, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
