Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Municipal Refuse Operator to join our team in Melbourne.

This role involves operating mobile plant equipment, driving trucks within the metro area, and placing bins back at their storage locations after washing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile plant machinery efficiently and safely
  • Navigate metropolitan roads while driving a truck
  • Return cleaned bins to designated storage facilities
  • Manage kerbside bin placements and collections post-service

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Holding a valid car licence is essential
  • Able to adapt to early morning starts
  • Familiarity with reading and following instructions is necessary
  • Prior experience in writing customer invoices beneficial
  • Effective communication skills for liaison with property managers
