About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Regulatory Officer to join our team. In this critical position, you will work closely with stakeholders and partners to deliver efficient regulatory processes and drive quality improvement in early childhood education and care services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting complex regulatory activities, making recommendations, and decisions that support the authority's functions under legislation.
- Providing data-driven recommendations informed by evidence analysis and accurate interpretation of legislation.
- Developing high-quality documentation for various stakeholders on matters related to early childhood education and care regulation.
Desirable skills and experience include:
- A strong background in assessing and rating early childhood education and care services.
- Experience as a regulator or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of regulating the ECEC sector.
- Excellent administrative skills, coordination, and reporting to ensure high-quality outcomes.
