Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Team Leader

About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you will lead a team of positive behaviour support practitioners in delivering high-quality services that empower individuals and communities. Your expertise and experience will elevate the skills of your team, driving positive changes and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Elevate the skills of your team through expert guidance and mentorship.
  • Contribute to organisational changes that enhance service delivery and impact.
  • Empower your team to deliver exceptional support under a social model of therapy.
  • Develop your skills in supporting individuals with diverse personalities and abilities.
  • Share knowledge with less experienced team members to foster their growth and development.
  • Provide clinical leadership and share expertise to support therapists in delivering high-quality support under a social model of disability.
Your Everyday:

You will be responsible for various tasks, including:

  • Delivering therapy within your discipline, bringing clients' hopes and dreams to life using a social model of therapy.
  • Supporting a therapist to implement their Grow Plan and achieve learning goals.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to support your team in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Approving team member leave, leading team meetings, and recognising outstanding team members.
  • Pursuing professional development or learning to develop as a leader or clinician.
  • Attending weekly huddles with regional team leaders to discuss opportunities for improving service delivery.
  • Working with area leads and regional leads to meet demand for services.
  • Fostering a positive work environment by sharing jokes and laughter with colleagues.
